ABOUT

BIOGRAPHY

Yuki Wang, whose real name is Yujing Wang (b. 2001), is a graphic designer from China. She graduated from the University of Arts London and now lives in London. She has a passion for painting, film, animation, games and crafting. Her ability to observe life, combined with her Eastern cultural background and spirit, combined with Western philosophy, gives her a unique perspective on learning and work. As an environmentalist, Yuki enjoys exploring how she can provide better eco-friendly products for the present and the future.

As someone who straddles four fields - painting, design, documentary, and VR - she is very adept at blending different mediums, both hands-on and technically, and can quickly adapt and solve problems in a short period of time.

PROJECTS

She enjoys studying the relationship between colour and people as well as the relationship between environment and people.
In the relationship between colour, she likes to focus on the emotional and visual connection of a colour to a person. She believes that each person as an individual perceives, describes and describes colour independently and is not bound by a general name, so she throws the questions to the audience and wants them to re-examine their own definition of colour.
In the relationship between environment and people, she specialises in looking at the environment around her, identifying some of the irrational and wasteful aspects of design and suggesting solutions or things to redesign.

She likes to work by hand with different materials and mediums, as she is influenced by the Bauhaus and prefers to use the visual language of colour and graphics to express herself. She also uses different media such as 3D, interactive and video to enhance the interaction with the audience.
