Looking at Mark Rothko's work, Yuki can see that he uses a lot of warm colours like red and yellow, as well as cool colours like blue and red that collide with warm colours. He was very colourful and very jumpy. In each period, what he would like to express in colour was clear only to him. But as an audience, Yuki also has her own interpretation. What she mostly see is a kind of struggling emotion. Especially the collision of cold and warm colours, 'Rothko's No 1' ,there is a feeling from hot to disheartened. What she see in 'Orange and Tan' is a struggle in flames.

After seeing his works, Yuki decided to use the sounds generated in the process of painting and the colours used to express the emotions generated when she heard some sounds. She would like to know how the audience would interpret sound, colour and emotion.
